By accessing or using Extendable ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Description of Service

Extendable is an AI-powered platform that enables users to build browser extensions through natural language conversations. The Service includes:

  • AI-assisted browser extension code generation
  • Secure sandbox environments for testing extensions
  • Live browser preview via VNC connection
  • Extension export and download capabilities
  • Project and session management

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. API Keys and Usage

The Service may require you to provide your own Claude API key from Anthropic. By providing your API key, you:

  • Confirm you have the right to use the API key
  • Agree to Anthropic's terms of service and usage policies
  • Accept responsibility for any charges incurred through API usage
  • Understand that API usage is subject to Anthropic's rate limits and policies

We securely store your API key using encryption and only use it to process your requests.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create malicious extensions (malware, spyware, adware)
  • Build extensions that violate browser store policies
  • Generate code that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Create extensions that collect user data without consent
  • Build phishing or deceptive extensions
  • Circumvent security measures or access unauthorized systems
  • Abuse sandbox resources or attempt to escape isolation
  • Engage in any illegal activities

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of the browser extensions and code you create using the Service. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content to provide the Service.

Our Content

The Service, including its interface, features, and documentation, is owned by Extendable. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without permission.

AI-Generated Code

Code generated by the AI assistant may be similar to code generated for other users or publicly available code. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any generated code before use.

7. Extension Publishing

Extensions you create using Extendable can be exported and published to browser stores (Chrome Web Store, Edge Add-ons, Firefox Add-ons). You are solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with each store's developer policies
  • Review and testing of extensions before publishing
  • User support and maintenance of published extensions
  • Privacy policies and disclosures required by stores
  • Any fees associated with developer accounts

8. Sandbox Environments

Extensions are tested in isolated E2B sandbox environments. These sandboxes:

  • Are ephemeral and destroyed after session termination
  • Have limited resources and execution time
  • May not perfectly replicate all browser behaviors
  • Should not be used as production hosting environments

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance and updates
  • Third-party service disruptions (AI providers, cloud infrastructure)
  • Unforeseen technical issues
  • Security incidents requiring immediate response

10. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months
  • We are not responsible for the behavior of extensions you create or publish

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Extendable from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your extensions, or your violation of these terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities. You may delete your account at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business purposes.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
